Welcome to New York: David Aardsma blows save, loses bed?

Mets reliever David Aardsma came in to close out a 2-1 game against the Royals at Citi Field on Friday night. He ended up allowing a run, but New York came back to win on Eric Young's walk-off homer in the 11th. 

So, all is forgiven, right? As long as the Mets win, right? No, David. Not in this town:



How? What? And to make matters worse, Aardsma had just moved into his new digs earlier in the day:


Aardsma eventually went to bed (somewhere), but vowed to find his mattress the next day:



Who could've pulled such an elaborate prank? Who would do this to a man who's only recently moved to the Big Apple? Well, maybe ...
