After losing to the Cardinals in Games 1 and 2, the Dodgers' backs were up against the wall. Back on their home turf, Los Angeles managed to come through with a crucial victory. To the GIF machine:

Adrian Gonzalez got the scoring going for L.A. in the bottom of the fourth with an RBI double, and exhorted the crowd and his teammates to get excited:

In possibly the most Yasiel Puig play yet in Yasiel Puig's career, the rookie dynamo bashed an Adam Wainwright pitch deep to right, and looked like he couldn't be more sure that it was going out. Then ... it stayed in the park. No problem, he still was able to coast into third with a triple:

Only Puig can seamlessly transition from a "get loud" gesture to full-bore double fist-pump:

Another Dodgers rookie, Hyun-Jin Ryu, struck out four over seven scoreless innings. Here he is striking out Matt Adams with two runners on to cap off his night:

L.A. wasn't quite done scoring, either. In the bottom of the eighth, Carl Crawford came home on Hanley Ramirez's bloop single. Yadier Molina and Mike Matheny were sure he was out, but home plate umpire Mike Everitt didn't agree:

St. Louis now leads the series 2-1, and the two teams will be back at it at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night for Game 4.
