The hands of Todd Helton (and others) are on view at DIA in bronze form

main image

Todd Helton's career may have ended last year. But the hands that gripped a bat for the Rockies for 17 seasons will live forever in bronze form -- and you can see them on display at Denver International Airport right now.

Helton is one of the baseball figures that sculptor Raelee Frazier depicts in her A Show of Hands project, which is now on display on Level 5 of DIA's Jeppesen Terminal. Other famous baseball hands featured include those of Buck O'Neil, Greg Maddux, Goose Gossage and onetime Yankees farmhand John Elway.

Read more about the exhibition, which runs until July, on DIA's Facebook page.
