One hundred and five years ago, the Pirates defeated the Tigers in the World Series, Ty Cobb won the batting title with a .377 average (and led the league with nine home runs) and George Mullin won 29 games. It's also when Agnes McKee was born.

McKee, 105-years-young, was on hand as the Padres hosted the Mets on Sunday and she even threw out the ceremonial first pitch, opting for the throwback windmill windup.

She must have brought some good luck with her, too, because Odrisamer Despaigne dealt 7 and 2/3 no-hit innings and the Padres eventually walked off thanks to a Seth Smith single in the ninth.
